D. Wayne Brackin, 74, passed away February 1, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Brackin. He is survived by his children, Sandy Pearcy, Cindy Meranda and Tina Bornman; along with 7 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Calling will be Thursday, February 5 from 10:30 to 1:00, with funeral beginning at 1:00, at Indiana Funeral Care and Crematory, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis. Immediately following, he will be laid to rest next to his loving wife at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, Indiana.

Wayne and Betty were my friends. They both suffered more than they deserved, but especially Wayne. We kept in touch after we both moved away from the Spencer area, and it was always good to hear his voice. We joked about hi getting married to 3 of us I’m the church.
I will miss my friend. I wish I could attend his showing and funeral, however I cannot. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
